Over the course of a decade Stephen Graham developed a unique vision in the field of creative direction, making his mark both internationally and in the South African market. Stephen’s focus has been on décor, fashion and lifestyle with aim to innovate and redefine industry expectations. Stephen’s approach is best described as ‘experiential design’.
Stephen has a notable eye for creating dynamic and inspirational set designs for magazine covers, editorials, theatre, television, film and events. His imaginative and novel approach to creative design has translated itself into works that have featured on the covers of magazines, in various fashion and lifestyle spreads and viewed on television shows.
Stephen was formally trained at the prestigious and world-renowned Central Saint Martins in London. With this strong foundation, Stephen began his career in London, one of the world’s creative hubs.
Passionate about his home country and having drawn from his experience in London, Stephen returned to South Africa to continue his creative journey. Stephen has been able to draw from his international experience and translate his expertise to complement and take the South African industry to the next level. In addition to successfully fulfilling the role of a theatre designer and conceptual creative director, Stephen has excelled as an artist. Stephen’s approach to art, which has been exhibited and features in private collections around the world, is again very unique.
Stephen’s philosophy has always been to instill his love for what he does in his work and invites others to share in this.
